... and thank-you for spending time with us.
Whoever you are, you are welcome here. Our church has been welcoming friends and strangers alike for more than half a century. We are an open congregation of compassionate people. We have a commitment to explore our faith, seek justice and live with respect with each other, and all of creation.
If you're looking for a place to worship where ideas matter, and are put into action, this may be the place for you. We try to balance exploring the meaning of our faith in these changing times with helping others as Christ calls us to - here, and in the world around us.
We meet every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. at 122 Queen Street in Porcupine, to praise God and grow in our understanding of our faith.
We welcome all who come through our doors. Each week, we rely on our service to renew our faith, like returning to a well. Like most churches, we read the scriptures together, pray and listen to sermons about how to connect this ancient faith with a quickly changing, modern world.
Today we are growing our church community. We have a Sunday School program, with classes for children of all ages.
Before each service, we have coffee and chat, catching up on our week, and enjoying each other's fellowship.
Please feel free to explore this website to learn more about us. We hope that you can find a home here with us, among people who believe life is full of meaning - but it takes some help to find it - and make it. Please join us in making your life and ours more meaningful. By helping each other, we help ourselves, too.
The Crazy Eight Club meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 12:00pm. Come out and enjoy a few hands!
Choir Practice is every Thursday evening, 7:00pm. Come and share your musical talents with the congregation by joining the choir.
